At the time that CPM came into existence, peoples’ faith in God was at a low ebb, they go to satanic powers and they also join secret societies but with the CPM, people , both big and small and high ranking people in the society who would have joined the secret societies were turned back to God through their membership of CPM Elele. Thousands and millions of people returned their faith in the Catholic Church. CPM recorded within 10 years of its existence a membership of over 6.5 million who returned to the Catholic Church with strengthened faith. |

Pilgrimage week takes place from Tuesday to Sunday of the first week of every month. During the Pilgrimage week, thousands of people converge to the Pilgrimage Center from various parts of Nigeria, Africa, Europe, and America. They come to strengthen their faith , have their problems handled by God, have their family cases solved by God, and reconcile the conflicting members of the society. Also, during the pilgrimage week, there is 24 hours adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and 24 hours visitation to the Blessed Virgin Mary (Marian) Shrine. The Catholic Prayer Ministry of the Holy Spirit is a deeply devotional pious association in the Catholic Church with special emphasis on deepening the proper prayer life of Christians both individually and in groups in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church. It is not a healing Ministry as some people mistakenly think. It was founded in the Novitiate of the Holy Ghost Fathers, Awo Omama in Nigeria in March 1984 by the Very Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Matthew Paul Edeh C.S.S.p., barely two months after he came back from his brilliant study career overseas.
